Suburban Running for a Cause

Besides heading into the heartlands for the inaugural Suburban Run @ North East, this running event also advocates the spirit of ‘Running for a Cause'.

Discipline, endurance and determination are one of the many qualities attributed to runners, but challenging yourself through a road race is nothing compared to the hardships faced by families struggling to make ends meet or fighting diseases.

Everyone runs for a different cause and the most common reason is to stay fit and create a healthy balance in life. Nevertheless, achieving good health and new friendships are amongst the long reward list from running, but what you truly benefit when you run for a cause is the tremendous feeling of accomplishment by helping the needy.

Therefore, let us express our care to the needy families in the ‘Suburban Run for a Cause' through showing small little gestures by simply bringing along the following items under the wish-list when you head for the Race Expo at Compass Point.

Helping the needy families for this run will undoubtedly bring about a different sensation and leave a memorable experience as you cross the finishing line at the Suburban Run @ North East.

Suburban Run for a Cause' Wish-List:

- Bottle of Cooking Oil
- Packet of Rice
- Tin / Packet of Milk Powder

Simply bring along any of the above items and drop it at our booth during the collection of your race pack at the Suburban Race Expo on the 7 & 8 March 2009 @ Compass Point.
